Thankfulness & other thoughts

It’s been awhile…The holiday weekend was good to us. Not only are our bellies full but our hearts are as well. We’re not incredibly sentimental but sometimes those specials times stick out more than others. The past few weeks have been extremely busy but amazingly full.

Since Thanksgiving I’ve seen American Authors, Christina Perry, Dresses, and Fitz and the Tantrums.

L is a big Winterhawks fan. With our season tickets we were able to attend our first Teddy Bear toss. All the stuffed animals are donated to local children’s hospitals and charities. Over 10,000 stuffed animals were tossed (donated).

I feel like life has tendency to get away from from me sometimes. Especially this time of year. With another year coming to a close I really want to reflect on the last 12 months, the amazing times, and everything I can learn/improve on.

In the coming year I want to continue to grow and become the best me I can be. Looking back on the last few months I don’t feel as though I lived up to be the best possible version of me. I’ve let situations get the best of me. I’ve failed at my own goals.

I’m starting my resolution post. I’ve never posted about my resolutions before. I’ve always felt like it was something I personally needed to work on and not necessarily share. Well I’m using this space as my excuse to hold me to my resolution. If it’s on the internet then I have to stick to it.

We’ll I’m off. L is sleeping and I have a hot buttered rum calling my name. Maybe a Christmas movie as well… Yes definitely a Christmas movie.

Happy holiday’s from our family to yours.
